Powdered Caramel Color 602 is a Class IV Caramel
D.D. Williamson’s POWDERED CARAMEL COLOR NO. 602 is a free-flowing double strength type product for baked goods, soups, gravies, various dry mixes and other uses where higher color intensity is desirable. As a guideline, 2.7 pounds of No. 602 approximates the coloring power of one gallon of Single Strength Acid Proof Liquid Caramel Color No. 105, and 5.9 pounds of NO. 602 will approximate the coloring power of one gallon of Double Strength Liquid Caramel Color No. 050.

- Absorbance of 0.1% w/v solution @ 610 NM through a 1cm square cell on Beckman DBG Spectrophotometer x 1000.
- Maximum Allowed: 2,550 PPM as listed in the monograph for caramel color found in the Food Chemicals Codex.
- Shelflife is based on storing the product sealed, in ambient storage conditions. Ambient conditions are 75 degress F (24 Degrees C) with a relative humidity of 60%.
Packed in 50 lb. and 25 kg net polyethylene-lined cardboard cartons.
